Lead in D.C. Water
This fact sheet provides general information on the impacts of having lead in your home and drinking water. D.C. has an undetermined number of lead and unknown materials in its water that residents should be familiar with. Our Campaign consists of technical experts, medical practitioners, and advocates working with the D.C. Council and other governmental agencies to remove all lead from residents' homes by 2037 (changed by DC Water from 2030). The only thing we're missing is your voice and presence at the table.
