Mission
The DC Asthma Coalition is committed to uniting diverse stakeholders and collaborating with District of Columbia agencies to alleviate the burden of asthma within our community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all residents affected by asthma by promoting comprehensive strategies for prevention, management, and treatment. Through advocacy, education, and partnership, we strive to create a supportive environment that empowers individuals and families to effectively manage asthma and reduce its impact on public health.
Vision
Our vision is a District of Columbia where asthma is effectively managed, and all residents have access to equitable resources and support to live healthy, fulfilling lives. We envision a future where asthma disparities are eliminated, and every individual receives the care and assistance they need to thrive despite their condition. By fostering collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, the DC Asthma Coalition aims to transform the landscape of asthma care and prevention, ultimately leading to a healthier, more resilient community for generations to come.
